COVID-19 Program Safety Guidelines
All CDC, AHA, and DPH guidelines will be followed during MEPA's CPR programs including:
All participants must be fever free and asymptomatic to enter the class
Anyone demonstrating COVID-19 symptoms will not be permitted to take the program
Anyone with an unprotected exposure to a known COVID-19 positive person in the last 14 days will not be permitted to attend the class
If COVID-19 symptoms including fever or unprotected exposure occur prior to the scheduled program, the person must notify MEPA to be rescheduled and not attend the class
All participants will wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after the course, and before and after breaks
A room large enough to accommodate six feet between participants during the program is required
All students will wear a surgical facemask or N95/P100 throughout the entire program
All manikins will be wiped down with disinfectant between students
Gloves may be worn by participants and/or hand sanitizer must be used before and after manikin practice
Dental Practice American Heart Association BLS CPR Provider Pricing
The AHA BLS provider program is 2.5-3.5 hours in duration, depending on the number of participants
The program fee is $75 per person and is due prior to the beginning of the class
A minimum of six persons is required for the BLS CPR Provider program
If the dental practice chooses to carry out the BLS Provider program with less than six participants, the practice is responsible for payment of the six persons minimum
